On December 11, we will offer a mass in celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Mary of the Mount. There will be a reception at the Cafe after Mass. The evening will feature local musicians and a special liturgy.

Mary Queen of Peace Parish will offer a QPR Gatekeeper Training Session on Monday, October 30, at the Parish Administrative Center (81 S. 13th St., Pgh. 15203) from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Question Persuade Refer (QPR) is a two-hour educational program designed to teach lay "gatekeepers" the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond.

In recognition of Saint Francis of Assisi, we are offering a Blessing of Animals on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM at both church building parking lots. Saint Francis was also known for his love of nature and of all God’s creatures. Saint Francis is often invoked as a patron saint of nature and animals.
