The Pittsburgh Marathon will be Sunday, May 5. Please plan accordingly when traveling to and from Sunday Masses. The Marathon route will go through the West End and South Side via Carson Street. Many other main routes, such as the Fort Pitt and Liberty Tunnels may have more traffic than usual. Please also say a prayer for all those who are participating – parishioners, visitors, and community members!

New this year! Join us for a Build Your Basket Event! Come and learn more about the baskets that are blessed on Holy Saturday at 10:00a.m. at St. Adalbert Lower Level. This tradition started in many Eastern European communities in the 12th Century. The baskets contain elements of an Easter meal and symbols of Christ's Resurrection and are meant to be shared with friends and loved ones after the Easter Vigil.
“Tolton: From Slave to Priest” is a live theater production based on the life of Father Augustus Tolton, the America’s first Black priest. Despite enduring racial prejudice, Father Tolton led a life of hidden holiness, tirelessly sharing the Gospel with the people who flocked to hear him preach. His moving story brings hope to our society, so desperately in need of his message of reconciliation and healing. Tolton is currently on a national tour, stopping in the Diocese of Pittsburgh on April 10, 2024. The performance is best suited to those ages 10 and up.

International speaker, writer, podcaster, wife and mother Katie Prejean McGrady will speak on how to empower young people to be leaders in the Church at “Expanding the Tent: Leadership that Impacts the Culture and the Church,” held Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Our churches will be open for Visitation on Holy Thursday at 8:30 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Midnight). This will be after our 7:00 p.m. Mass at St. Mary of the Mount has ended. We welcome all visitors and thank you for understanding!

Come to experience the Mercy of the Lord in a Communal Penance Service Wednesday March 20th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Mount Church. This evening will offer time for reflection and the Sacrament of Confession.
